Bhd. The sharing session, which was attended by more than 100 participants comprising lecturers and students from various programs has managed to expose lecturers and students with real experience, business insights and organizational management faced by the founder himself through his journey. Also present during the event was the Assistant Vice Chancellor of COB and the Dean of SBM, Professor Dr Haim Hilman Abdullah, the Deputy Dean of SBM, Dr. Khairol Anuar Ishak and other Human Capital committee members.
The main objective of the Industrial Talk program is to bridge a cooperative relationship between SBM and the industry. In addition to connecting SBM with the industry players who have direct experiences with the real job environment, it is also hoped that such ties will be able to shape the excellent career development for the students through the sharing of knowledge and experience from the industry practitioners themselves.
Throughout the session, YM Tunku Faris Tunku Khalil has shared with the audiences useful tips on how to start a business and how to face and deal with business challenges. According to him, one does not need a large capital to start a business as they may begin with small-scale business and learn as much possible from the experiences gathered. He further added that it is through the knowledge and experience pooled from the small business that we can then develop other bigger businesses with bigger start-up capital. YM Tunku Faris also emphasized the importance of having a good mentor in helping beginners to start their business. For that, YM Tunku Faris is pleased to agree to become the guide to 30 students who are currently involved in business within the campus.
